Southside Elementary School

Complete restoration and reinforcing of 100+ year old building. Southside elementary school building #2 was built in the 1920s and needed to be brought up to code. Under the direction of MDCPS we came in and shored the entire building in order to reinforce the structure. The job consisted of heavy duty shoring, concrete repairs, structural strengthening, filled cells, new slabs, slab reinforcing, wall bracing, column repairs, beam repairs, wall repairs, and strapping throughout to meet the 2017 hurricane code.
